π When your idea of a good time is transporting a box of sensory toys across the country...
Look, most people get excited about new furniture, gadgets, or dΓ©cor. But me? Well, I get ridiculously excited about a box full of pop-its, sensory tubes, fidget toys, tactile rollers, and calming sensory resources heading to our newest property, The Joseph Cosy.
As an autistic and ADHD business owner, I know personally that small things can make a huge difference. A sensory toy isn't 'just a toy'. It can help someone regulate, reduce anxiety, improve focus, ease overwhelm, or simply feel more comfortable in an unfamiliar environment.
That's why every Diverse Nation property is designed with neurodivergent guests in mind. From weighted blankets and sensory-friendly lighting to quiet spaces and now an expanded sensory toy box, we're always looking for ways to make our accommodation feel safer, calmer, and more accessible.
Today's mission: successfully transport a box of colourful sensory goodies to the Lancaster property without becoming distracted and opening them all myself first (spoiler alert: there is zero chance I'm not going to play with them ha!) πβ¨
Sometimes inclusion doesn't start with a big policy or expensive renovation. Sometimes it starts with a plastic tub on the back seat of a car.
Stay Diverse everyone βππ«Άπ₯³
