Situated in the South of the beautiful Isle of Harris, the village of Leverburgh, gives you a taste of village life in the islands with all amenities close to hand while still offering you peace and quiet with some of the most beautiful beaches and landscapes on your doorstep. oss the Sound of Harris to Uist. It is the perfect location for enjoying a relaxing holiday and enjoying all manner of outdoor pursuits. The property has been recently refurbished and provides comfortable accommodation for up to six people. There is a small garden to the front and rear of the house and a private drive way to the side. If you do not fancy driving, the bus stops are very close and provide a regular service. Downstairs to the rear of the house, you will find a modern, well equipped, kitchen containing electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer, toaster, kettle and all other usual kitchen utensils. There is also a dining table to seat six guests. Overlooking the front of the house, is the lounge which contains tv, dvd player, dvd's, books and a selection of games. The bathroom is found off the hallway and consists of a bath and shower with nice toiletries for your use. In the hallway cupboard you will find the iron and ironing board. All three bedrooms are upstairs. There is a lovely double bedroom overlooking the loch to the back of the house with another double bedroom and twin bedroom at the front of the house. All rooms are comfortable, are tastefully furnished and provide ample storage. Linen is all provided, along with bath towels and hand towels. There is also a hairdryer for your use. The local shop in Leverburgh which has a huge selection of goods is only a minutes walk away and you can also get your diesel/petrol here too. You can walk to the local post office/shop which has a cash machine inside, have a meal in the local restaurant or pick up a snack or dinner in the local take away. if there are children in your party, there is a great playpark nearby for them to enjoy. If you drive through Leverburgh and carry on for 2 miles, you will come to Rodel and St. Clements Church and from there you can carry on up the rocky, east coast of the island. Going in the opposite direction for approximately 3 miles will take you to Northton where there are gorgeous beaches, great food to be found and a lovely, quaint little shop. You may arrive in the Isle of Harris from Uig, in Skye, which will take you into Tarbert. This ferry crossing takes 1 hour and 40 minutes and then it is 22 miles south to Leverburgh. In Tarbert you will find a larger variety of shops, two hotels, a cafe, bank etc. If you take the ferry from Ullapool into Stornoway, this crossing takes 2 hours and 45 minutes and then it is 57 miles south, along the gorgeous west coast, to Leverburgh. Stornoway is the main town and has a large seletion of shops and eateries.

£500 per week throughout the year.
With the exception of Christmas and New Year weeks which are £700 per week
Unfortunately, no refunds are available for late arrivals due to weather, ferry or flight disruptions.
In general, weekly bookings run from Friday to Friday.
Check in at 2.30pm
Check out at 10:30am
Pets are welcome but please let me know if your family pets will be enjoying a holiday with you.
Bed linen and towels are provided and electricity included in price.
Deposit of £100 required at time of booking and balance to be paid in full 2 weeks prior to arrival please.
