The best staff, the best view for a tea break at Wild Lakes Wales!

45 mins later, we were still there watching, emotionally invested in the wakeboarders runs. Our ice-cream was eaten, tea drunk and we were definitely feeling more rested though!

We decided to check out Wild Lakes Wales this week. There is an inflatable obstacle course, a bouldering wall, and wakeboarding and Ringo rides from a tow line as well!

We also enjoyed the on-site café and restaurant which are just delicious 😋

Do you remember your family holidays as a kid?

Playing in streams, getting muddy, pointless walks, making friends with other families on the beach for days? (Looking at you millennials and gen X!)

Over the years we've had families come back to us year after year. There's something very special about that. We feel very privileged that families enjoy themselves at our properties so much that they want to come back. We never take it for granted. We want to live up to those memories.

A family checked in this week who've done exactly that for six years and they told us a bit of what these weeks have meant to them as a family. It's been going around in my head the last few days.

It also sent me somewhere else, back to my own childhood summers and holidays with friends and family. I've got quite reflective about it all.

The families make the memories. We just try to hold the space and the setting for that to happen. So they can come back, for as long as they need to.

We will continue to feel thankful that we've been able to be part of it.

The best thing this year has probably been the feedback from our guests. Both new and returning guests have taken time out to share their thoughts of our holiday cottages and the service we provide and it's just made us 😍🎉🥰🥳🥹☺️

We're excited for the next six months starting with our summer adventures exploring across Pembrokeshire!
