Born and raised in South Wales where we have our own Welshisms (which make perfect sense to us - now in a minute anyone?) these local Pembrokeshire phrases and names took me a moment to get my head around! What have I missed?!

I haven't heard 'tuth' as in 🦷 here as much as south east Wales.

New here? Hi I'm Ruth. I live in Pembrokeshire and run two holiday cottages with my little family. Follow along for more Wenglish, local gems and salty moments!

The best staff, the best view for a tea break at Wild Lakes Wales!

45 mins later, we were still there watching, emotionally invested in the wakeboarders runs. Our ice-cream was eaten, tea drunk and we were definitely feeling more rested though!

We decided to check out Wild Lakes Wales this week. There is an inflatable obstacle course, a bouldering wall, and wakeboarding and Ringo rides from a tow line as well!

We also enjoyed the on-site café and restaurant which are just delicious 😋
