🏰 Fancy a free day out near Tenby?
Manorbier Castle is opening its doors for free on Sunday 20th September 2026 as part of Cadw’s Open Doors programme, and there’s no need to book.
Overlooking Manorbier Beach and the Pembrokeshire coast, the historic Norman castle has chambers, ancient towers and gardens to explore, with wonderful views out towards the sea.
For the Open Doors event, visitors can also discover new visual and audio interpretation bringing the medieval world to life, alongside interactive displays.
The tearoom will be serving cakes, savoury lunches and refreshments, and if you fancy something a little different, there will also be Victorian-style mini tennis to try.

If you’re driving, Cadw recommends parking at Manorbier Beach Car Park, where charges apply, followed by a short walk uphill to the castle’s side “Secret Entrance”. Limited disabled parking is available at the castle, and visitors who require it are advised to contact the castle before their visit.
