Cornwall Aire for Campervans

This was a lovely welcome when I got home one night this week! ✨🥰

Some of our lovely campervan visitors were out practising their poi spinning skills, and I have to say, I was pretty impressed! 🤩🔥

Their dog Freddie, however, looked considerably less impressed by the whole performance… 🐶😂

Never a dull evening at Cornwall Aire! ❤️

With the nights drawing in, we made the most of every last bit of daylight on our run around Hayle last night 🏃‍♀️🌅

The light as the sun went down was absolutely beautiful ❤️

Unfortunately, it also confirmed that autumn is on its way 😭🍂

I’m choosing to ignore this information and remain in summer mode until further notice. ☀️😂

🌿🐾 A little explore on our doorstep today! 🐾🌿

Went for a little run around Tolroy Woods, right next to Cornwall Aire, and somehow found bits I’d never even seen before! 😂 It was so pretty in the sunshine ☀️🌳 and absolutely perfect for anyone staying with us with doggies 🐶

From Cornwall Aire you can also walk into Hayle in around 25 minutes across footpaths, fields, little bridges and fords 🌾🌉💦 — much nicer than walking along the road!

Obviously all that running required a little breakfast stop at Salt Hayle

😋☕️ which was delicious as always, with the fab staff looking after us ❤️ salt.hayle

Not entirely convinced we ran enough miles to cancel out the breakfast… but I’m pretty sure that’s how exercise works?! 😂🏃‍♀️🍳

Then back through the woods to Cornwall Aire… definitely worse ways to spend a sunny morning! 💚☀️

Well… that escalated quickly! 😂🚐🚐🚐

We had a very full little campsite the other day! We were taking our own campervans away, so had moved them out of their usual spots to get them packed and ready to go.

Turns out it was perfect timing, because we suddenly had lots of people wanting to bring their own vans! With the extra spaces we’d accidentally created, we managed to squeeze most of them in. 😂🙌

We even went a little international for the night! 🌍 We had two German visitors, one Italian and one British — all enjoying their little corner of Cornwall together. 🇩🇪🇩🇪🇮🇹🇬🇧

And after talking about it for ages, we finally have signs for our van spaces! 🎉🚐 We’ve named each one after our beautiful local beaches, which seemed only right for our little Cornish campsite. 🏖️💙

We absolutely LOVE seeing our tiny site looking so busy — vans dotted around, everyone relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. ❤️

And once it got dark, the evening entertainment was provided by our resident owls, hooting away across the fields. 🦉🌙

No nightclub, no traffic, no entertainment team… just happy campers, Cornish countryside and a few noisy owls. 😂🥰
