The Black Swan at Helmsley offers a warm Yorkshire welcome, with a history dating back five centuries. How would we describe the Black Swan?
(1462)

With its inviting open fires, cosy armchairs and warm welcome, The Black Swan is just the place to eat, drink, sleep and explore beautiful Helmsley from and attractions including nearby Rievaulx Abbey, Helmsley Castle and Helmsley Walled Garden. A stay here gives you time to unwind and savour delicious menus in our cosy, country pub. Its enviable position means that the North York Moors is right on our doorstep, and the Yorkshire coastline and the historic city of York and the spa town of Harrogate are within easy driving distance. The Black Swan is ‘beautifully different’. It ooses ‘olde-worlde’ charm, whilst carefully combining classic contemporary design with handfuls of antiques to create a warm, home-from-home atmosphere.

Some people count steps... we're counting coffees ☕😉

It's International Coffee Day, so we're celebrating the drink that's started meetings, fuelled catch-ups and somehow convinced us that cake is a perfectly acceptable breakfast companion.

Who's joining us for one? We'll save you a seat.
