Great to have a good pub within a short distance

FEATURED 🤩 | Herefordshire Pub Named in the Top 50 Pubs in the Country.

Earlier this week Estrella held their coveted annual awards ceremony at The Parker’s Arms in Lancashire where they announced the names and results of the Top 50 Gastropubs in the country.

The Bull’s Head was on the short-list of pubs who had made the cut, making them the only Herefordshire pub in the top 50.

Owners Jake and Amie Townley and Head Chef Mike Fullard were in attendance, waiting on tenterhooks when it was announced that they were number 41 on the list. An incredible feat when you consider that the pub, in its current iteration, has only been open for two years.

Located in the rural hamlet of Craswall, The Bull’s Head was re-opened in November 2021, much to the delight of the local community after the pub doors were abruptly shut in 2015.

They are featured in the Michelin Guide and implement a farm-to-table approach to their cooking, with a majority of their meat and produce coming from their regenerative farm ten minutes up the road in Longtown.

If you are interested in paying them a visit you can book through their website (www.wildbynaturellp.com/the-bulls-head-inn), or feel free to give them a call.

From March 2024 there will also be onsite accommodation in the form of four double cabins - the perfect location for a staycation.

Visit their website if you would like to make a booking, or if you would just like to find out more.
