Tuesday nights are a Autumn/Winter favourite here at the Red Lion

We have finished our dancing season and will be starting our autumn and winter practice. If you would be interested in giving morris dancing a go, we practice at Moccas Village Hall (HR2 9LQ) every Tuesday night at 7.30pm, and afterwards play tunes and sing songs at The Red Lion in Bredwardine (HR3 6BU). Newcomers will be given a very warm welcome. No experience necessary, and you would be very welcome to come along just to try some morris dancing and see what you think. The Red Lion is for sale and a whopping £195,000 has been knocked off the original asking price! Now we need your help to find the right person to take it on.

This beautiful 17th century coaching inn has been welcoming people for generations and is well known for its fantastic setting beside the River Wye and, of course, the fishing.

Mike has loved being landlord and has put a huge amount of time, care and character into the place, but after all these years he really does need to retire (no offence Dad, but you're not getting any younger).
