Definitely worth a visit!!!

Is it a mushroom…or is it our very cute mushroom 🍄 ❤️
Creamy matcha with a compote centre dipped in white on a chocolate pastry shell with a layer of raspberry compote, filled with rich chocolate ganache topped with crunchy chocolate soil.

Always worth a visit and just a short walk from the Lodge

🍳 Brunch Sundays are coming to The Forge!

Starting Sunday 4th October, we’ll be adding a special brunch menu on the first Sunday of the month throughout autumn and winter.

Expect a few things you won’t usually find on our menu — from Eggs Royale and brunch hash to waffles and homemade granola. 😋

We’ll be serving 10am–3pm, and our usual menu, including our all-day breakfast, will still be available.

Bookings welcome, walk-ins too.

Friday the 13th? Some call it unlucky but we call it the perfect day for a chippy tea 🐠🍟

Fish and chips is a new weekly special coming to the Lion house starting friday 13th February.

Eat in with a pint or glass of w**e or You can enjoy fish and chips in the comfort of your own home as take out is available too!

Happy New Year from Allendale Tar Barrels 2025

Instead of the usual, New Year’s Eve celebrations, 45 men, born in the Allen Valleys, will participate in a long-standing tradition, spreading through the streets with burning tap I was on their heads.

The ancient custom, which has been observed for at least 160 years marks the end of the old year and the beginning of the new in Allendale.

Always worth a trip to see.
