FORAGING AT WELLNESS WOODLANDS
Foraging is something that Jess is really passionate about. There’s something so special about looking at what nature provides, making the most of what grows on the land and turning it into something delicious!
It’s a passion she’s always shared with her children too. As you can see from these photos, they’ve grown up getting involved in foraging alongside their grandparents. Learning where food comes from and how much fun it can be to make something from what you find.
This autumn, we’re really looking forward to bringing foraging into our Forest School sessions and cooking what we find around the fire, crumble is a firm favourite. This season you will find Jess busy making jams, chutney, stewed fruit and damson crumble. Who would like to come foraging in the woods and make a crumble round the fire?
