We are now closed for 2026. It's been an amazing year and we wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who visited us throughout the season, we really do appreciate it. Also a huge thanks to Mark and his team for their tireless work in keeping the site beautiful, making the bar the fun that it is and basically doing everything else all at the same time! We open again on March 19th 2027, running through to October 2nd, and the website is now open for bookings. We are also registering interest for Seasonal pitches, with details on the website. Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year, and we will leave you with a lovely sunset shared with us by Jacqui Martin.

As you may have seen in the press recently, the Heritage Live music festival at Sandringham has been cancelled, due to low ticket sales. This is obviously a big blow to festival goers looking forward to a great event, but also to the local area, which would have benefited hugely from the shows. In light of this, we have decided to reduce our nightly rates between August 19th to Aug 26th from £60 to the standard £32, and within that period, there will no longer be a requirement to book to a minimum three night stay. Anyone who has already booked with days included in this period at the higher rate, will have the cost of their stay adjusted downwards accordingly, when they settle up.

Gatton Waters Caravan Park has been recognized by Campsites.co.uk as amongst the UK's outstanding sites for 2026. We really appreciate the recognition and it's fitting reward for the enormous work, dedication and love that Mark puts into the site every single day.

A huge thanks to Liz Hall for these amazing photos of some of the wildlife at Gatton Waters Caravan Park. I've tried to identify all of the birds, but I'd be grateful for any corrections if I've got anything wrong. A Red Kite, European Stonechat, a House Sparrow, a Greenfinch and a Yellowhammer. And a couple of beautiful sunsets thrown in too!

We have been named as one of the best Campsites and Caravan Parks in the UK! This is a testament to the enormous effort and dedication that Mark and the Team put in everyday. It really is brilliant for that to be recognized. Here's to a long hot summer!
