A huge congratulations to Charlie, who landed a brand new personal best while staying with us in a Meadow Lodge! 🙌

Caught on Dragonfly Lake during May half term, this fantastic fish made for a memorable moment and a catch Charlie won't be forgetting anytime soon. 🐟

There's nothing quite like achieving a new PB during a relaxing fishing holiday, and we're delighted Clawford Lakes could be part of the experience.

🎣 WHAT A WHOPPER 🎣

Although the fishing proved a little slower earlier this month for Alex, persistence certainly paid off with this incredible 35.10lb carp caught from Clawford Lake 👏🐟

Alongside landing this beauty, Alex also enjoyed success on Mallard Lake with a number of additional catches during his stay 🎣

At Clawford Lakes Resort & Spa, every session can bring something special and this stunning carp is a perfect example of why anglers return time and time again.

Returning guest Christian Nelson has kicked off his week long stay in style with this stunning 10.4lb catch from Jenny Wren Lake 👏

After spending a full day enjoying the peace and quiet around the lake, the reward finally came at around 5.30pm with the capture of this beautiful fish, affectionately self named “Carrot” 🧡🐟

We’re so excited to share a new update on our sponsored Hearing Dogs puppy, Otter 🐶💙

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People

Otter is now seven months old and thriving in his volunteer home as he continues his incredible journey towards becoming a life changing hearing dog. From puppy classes and countryside walks to learning important early commands, he’s growing in confidence every single day.

His trainer describes him as a “confident and social little puppy” who is quick to learn and loves meeting new people and dogs along the way 🐾

Otter has recently been learning to:
✨ Wait patiently before meals
✨ Walk nicely and focus during training
✨ Settle calmly in new environments
✨ Build his social confidence through new experiences

We are so proud to support Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and follow Otter’s journey as he works towards changing someone’s life in the future.
