Our sunflowers are little later than hoped, but are adding a nice bit of colour as we head into late summer.

They will also add an abundance of important seed later in the year.

We have been drilling the last of our r**e this morning.

We have added r**e back into our rotation after a few years out as we, like all farms, are having to assess what we can and can’t grow.

This has also been driven by the uncertainty in the future of the Sustainable Farming Incentive and Country Stewardship Scheme

This week we have fitted new doors and windows in Plover House and Tern Place, which has made a huge difference to both properties.

Over the summer months, some guests had mentioned about the windows and doors, so your feedback was very helpful and gave us a nudge to do this sooner, rather than later.

Throughout September, we will continue to replace several sky lights, which again we are sure, will make a big difference.

We look forward to you seeing them.
