Super Dog friendly in Hornsea,East Yorkshire.2 mins from the beach,2 mins from town with dog friendly cafes, bars and independant shops.Secure gardens and parking. Dogs welcome. For your comfort, the number of dogs allowed depends on the size of dogs and number of people occupying the cottage. Full weeks Saturday to Saturday and short breaks of 3 or 4 nights also available. Two minutes walk from a long sandy beach, town centre and the start (or end) of the Tranpennine Trail. Great for the family, cyclists or runners due to off road tracks. Perfect location. The cottage is central heated with radiators in every room and a gas fire stove in the living room. It has an instant hot water boiler. There are smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs. Free WiFi. The cottage is very comfortable and is really home from home with books, games, record player and Wii games console, games and 2 controllers. Comfortable sofas and beds with memory foam toppers for added comfort. All bedding is provided and the bathroom is stocked with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as toilet rolls. The kitchen is well stocked and includes cupboard non perishable basics like tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil and condiments. Downstairs :Kitchen, Living Room, bathroom and good sized hallway. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms, one with an ensuite toilet and sink. Secure garden with pond (please supervise small children), garden furniture, parasol and BBQ area. For your dog, there is a medium sized dog crate in the cottage together with dog bowls, old towels, throws, poo bags and treats. The garden has a high fence or hedge the whole way around. The hedge has mesh inbetween. The gate is 3 foot high and if required can be adapted to make higher (around 5 foot). Towels and tea towels are not provided - please take your own

Also available are beach chairs, windbreaks, buckets spades, beach games and boogy boards - even sledges for snowy weather, umberella and raincoats. Driveway for off street parking. Our aim is to provide everything you and your dogs need for a lovely relaxing holiday.

Food.... we have a great choice in Hornsea for food. So many places I can't cover them all ..... Daytime food at all ...

Food.... we have a great choice in Hornsea for food. So many places I can't cover them all .....
Daytime food at all the cafe bars: The Lounge, Rage quit, Fettled, Green Owl, Cafe Mondo (my favourite 😍) and Bay Tree.
Evening food, Green Owl, Victoria Pub, Marine Pub, Athena Greek, Milli Sapori Italian and Hornsea Tandori (my favourite 😍).
Takeaways: Hornsea Tandori, Turkish Delight (my favourite 😍)and Newbigin Chinese ,(my favourite😍). Lots of Fish and Chip shops and restaurants too - all good.

There's lots more cafes and takeaways but this just gives you an idea. Most are dog friendly but just check if booking evening meals.

And back through town we have some lovely independant shops, selling beautiful gifts, clothes, flowers, food and more...everything really and Hornsea is thriving with lovely places to eat and drink too. Most, if not all, Dog friendly. A few interesting churches, the museum and Bettisons Folly for some history too.

What makes us super dog friendly? All this and a beautiful presented and clean home from home..... Whenever you visit, whatever time of year, we're ready for you. With washable loose covered sofas, washable rugs, cushion covers. throws and more, we can make sure every visit is the best it can be ❤️ 🐕 poo bags, Dog bowls and lots of spare dog throws and throw too.
