Situated in it's own private meadow here on St Martin's Vineyard, our shepherds hut was hand-built in 2021 to provide unique self-catering accommodation here on the Isles of Scilly

Gig Weekend Availability!

We have a one-week stay available on St Martin's from Friday 2nd May - Friday 9th May 2025. Email us directly at [email protected] to book - £830 for the week and the shepherds hut sleeps two - unfortunately we're unable to accommodate dogs or children.

We've had a rare cancellation for two weeks at the beginning of September 2024 in one of our hand-built shepherds huts here on St Martin's vineyard!

The shepherds huts are situated in their own private meadow just a stone's throw from Par - perfect for a morning swim or a sunset stroll.

The huts are fully equiped with full self-catering facilities, a comfortable double-bed and all of the extras you need for a special holiday on St Martin's.

Spring Availability in the Shepherd Huts!

We have had a cancellation of a two-week stay from 20th April to 4th May 2024 - this is a beautiful time to be on the islands in the runup to Gig Weekend!

You can book this as a two-week stay (if you're quick!) or as individual week-long stays with a Saturday changeover.

There are just a few days to go until we open bookings for our two shepherds huts for the 2023 season! The website will go live at midday on Saturday 12th November 2022 with availability from 4th March 2023 until the end of the year.

Situated in their own private meadow here on the vineyard, you can be out of bed and into the crystal-clear waters of Par Beach within 3 minutes (we've tried!).

Each hut has a full kitchen with oven, microwave, electric hob, fridge/freezer, Belfast sink, toaster and kettle. We also have the little extras you might need, such as a cafetiere and toast rack for lazy mornings.

There is a full-sized double bed with views out of the wide picture window, and a dining area with a table and chairs. A hot, high-pressure shower together with sink and toilet complete our bathroom.

Please note that maximum occupancy is two adults and we are unfortuntately unable to accomodate children or pets. Bookings for both huts are available in 7-night blocks with a Saturday changeover. Our maximum stay duration is 28 days. Bookings are online only and will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

We are delighted to announce that we will be opening bookings for our shepherds hut at midday on 30th December 2021. We are taking bookings from 2nd April 2022 until the end of the year and bookings will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note that maximum occupancy this year is two adults and we are unfortuntately unable to accomodate children or pets. The changeover day will be a Saturday throughout the season and the minimum stay is 7 nights.

Autumn is one of our favourite times here on St Martin's - whether it's basking in the sunshine on a still autumnal morning, or watching dramatic showers move across the bay. With the main season over, the island takes on a wilder, more intimate feel with quiet beaches and wild heathland. With the nights drawing in, there's no easier time to enjoy our stunning dark skies!

We have just a few vacancies at the end of the season - perfect for a last-minute getaway! You'll find everything you need for a cosy escape - underfloor heating keeps the shepherd's hut toasty at night and the hot shower is waiting to warm you up after a dip in the sea. With wifi, you could even work remotely for a week, nipping up to the Island Bakery for lunch and taking a stroll along Par Beach at 5 o'clock.
