After a quiet few weeks on the water the last few days has seen lots of Common Dolphins, Risso Dolphins and Basking Sharks around St Mary's. We went around the island and a large pod of Common Dolphins joined us, following the boat for ages. We didn't find Risso Dolphins or Basking Sharks today but there is always tomorrow,

We've been watching Whales again from Peninnis most days for the last couple of weeks, both Humpbacks and Fin Whales. Today we had great views of a Humpback called Pi. So named because of scarring near its dorsal fin. Pi has been visiting the islands each winter for the last 5 or 6 years
