And it’s a wrap! Another wonderful season of glorious weather and wonderful guests comes to an end! We have so enjoyed this year and are already looking forward to March and to welcoming old and new visitors again. In the meantime, thank you to our amazing team of staff for such hard work and dedication through another busy season. Thank you to all our guests who make it such a pleasure for us to come to work every day. And don’t forget to book now for next year - the best rooms at the busiest times are always snapped up, often before the year is out.

Sometimes, we forget just what a majestic and historic building the Star Castle is - how much history it carries and what tales it has to tell. And then Sarah takes a picture as she arrives for the day and it just serves as a reminder of how privileged we are to be part of its story.

And now it’s the sunset that has had the team reaching for a camera. Enjoy this beauty captured by Gary last night.

Star Castle boatman, Rafe had a wonderful day yesterday. One of his passengers was Mrs Gee, who has been coming to the Castle for over 40 years and was celebrating her 82nd birthday. Of course, Rafe managed to arrange dozens of lovely dolphins to appear right on cue! Skip to about 28 seconds for the best shots.
