The Hideaway at Baxby Manor is a small, relaxed and friendly campsite in the heart of North Yorkshire, that offers you chilled out camping and glamping that's in-tune with nature and doesn't cost the Earth. There are just 40 pitches in a 6 acre field, which nestles in the midst of our 110 acre farm, surrounded by trees and bounded on one side by a stream. It is off the beaten track, but only a str

oll from the village shop, pub and bus stop. Baxby Manor, on the edge of Husthwaite village, was built in 1308 and is nestled between the Yorkshire Dales and the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors and is conveniently just 15 miles from the historic city of York.

BEST CAMPING TIP: Bring a cheap doormat, place it outside your door and use it for muddy boots and to get rid of grass (less mess in your tent, the better!) 🎉

This is the most HATED rule on the campsite... 🤷

Well, to some people anyway.. We love it though, no music means everyone can enjoy the ethos of the campsite which is back to nature!

If you do want to blast some tunes, just make sure to bring some headphones.
