Ooops… we did it again! 💃🏼✨

6 YEARS IN A ROW! 🥹❤️

We’ve only gone and been awarded the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for 2026 — for the sixth year running!

This award recognises the top 10% of restaurants in the world…

THE WORLD. 🌎

And honestly, we’re a little bit speechless.

But this one isn’t really about us. It’s about YOU.
Every review, every kind word, every recommendation and every person who has taken a few minutes out of their day to tell others about their experience with us has helped get us here.

Six years in a row is something we could never take for granted. We are incredibly proud, incredibly grateful, and mostly just incredibly lucky to have the most wonderful customers.

So from our little Ox family to every single person who has eaten with us, stayed with us, recommended us or taken the time to leave a review…
THANK YOU. ❤️

We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.

Here’s to six years… and hopefully many, many more. 🥂✨

🇫🇷 Ohh la la… November is going French! 🇫🇷

Something très special is coming to the Ox…

Introducing our French Tapas — three evenings of elegant, delicate, comforting French-inspired dishes, with just the right amount of je ne sais quoi. ✨

Usually our tapas runs every Thursday, but November is a little different… with our Festive Fayre kicking off on the final Thursday, our French affair is three weeks only:

Thursday 5th • Thursday 12th • Thursday 19th November

Think classic French flavours, beautiful ingredients and proper comfort food, all with a little Ox twist.

Très chic. Très délicieux. Très Durham Ox. 🇫🇷🥂

Three Thursdays. One little trip to France.
Ohh la la… we can’t wait. ❤️
