🐝🌼🦋TO CUT or NOT TO CUT! 🦋🌼🐝
Saturday is a busy day and includes cutting the grass. While the front lawn is always cut, the grass at the seaside of the house presents me with a dilemma. Today I couldn't cut it. I was greeted with a beautiful sea of sunny dandelions which was just beautiful. Looking closer there were all sorts, daisies, orchids, self heal, clover, ragged robbin, forget me nots ................and probably much more. SO I cut a path thourgh it and a circle to sit on and left the rest for the bumblebees and butterflies.
The grass aorund the picnic table is always cut, and it looks over an area where I sowed lots of wildflowers last year, and they are doing well. Sitting there for a moment today it was filled with birdsong and often you can see reed deer and roe deer as well as the occasional fox.
