After a good few years based in Aberdeen, I’m officially shutting up shop and moving my office to Caithness to spend more time with my teenage daughter 💁

Flotnar Hús will close to guests at the end of the month. Massive thanks to everyone who supported the Airbnb chapter — we averaged 4.8/5.0 across 543 reviews, which isn’t bad at all.

The majority of guests were brilliant… Although the occasional Karen and/or Dave tested me once or twice...

Private lets are still being considered when I’m away on “business” but it’ll be down to two bedrooms instead of four.

Bed and Breakfast in 2027 is very much dependent on the tourism levy. Take note councillors 😉
