Thank you so much everyone - we really appreciate your amazing reviews 💕

A huge 'Thank You' to everyone who has recently added charity donations to their Littlemere Bookings. Today we have matched the donations received and donated £344 to Manna House, Kendal. Manna House works for the benefit of the public in South Lakeland, providing advice, advocacy and a drop-in support centre for those who are homeless, vulnerably housed, lonely or needing help.

🌿 A Little Update from Littlemere 🌿

We've made the difficult decision to remove the hot tubs from The Drey and The Hedgerow from mid-February.

While we know many guests have loved soaking under the stars ✨, rising energy costs and increasing maintenance requirements mean this is sadly no longer sustainable.

The good news? 💚

🐾 The Hedgerow will become dog-friendly from mid-February! With its secure fenced garden, it's the perfect place for four-legged holidays.

🏡 Lodge prices for The Drey and The Hedgerow will also be reduced and brought in line with our other lodges.

🐶 This means that every lodge at Littlemere will now welcome dogs, apart from The Coppice.

We're incredibly grateful for your understanding and support, and we're excited to continue offering peaceful countryside escapes, beautiful wildlife, and plenty of space to relax and unwind. 🌳🦉🦊

Thank you for being part of the Littlemere family ❤️

🌞🌑 WEDNESDAY’S SOLAR ECLIPSE! 🌑🌞

On the evening of 12 August 2026, skywatchers across the UK will be treated to an exciting partial solar eclipse, as the Moon partially covers the Sun, taking a dramatic “bite” out of its bright disk.

At Littlemere Lake District Lodges the partial eclipse is forecast to start just after 6pm reaching maximum coverage (92%) at 7:08pm, before finishing at about 8:02pm.

Don't forget to PROTECT YOUR EYES 👓
NEVER look directly at the Sun without proper solar eclipse glasses or a certified solar viewer. Normal sunglasses are NOT safe, no matter how dark they are. Look for glasses that meet ISO 12312-2
