Well done to Tim Farron and his fellow walkers for completing their sponsored walk in support of the Manna House Homeless Charity. The group walked 13 miles through the night from Kendal to Crooklands in aid of 'Walk a mile in their shoes', where at 3am they were greeted by our Night Porter Carl, with some much needed refreshments! ☕ The walk raised a over 23K which is an amazing achievement! ⭐️⭐️⭐️🙌

Owning a 17th-century inn has its fair share of challenges! However, at this time of year, you can't beat a traditional rustic bar with a roaring log fire and a few seasonal touches to get you in a cozy autumnal mood! 🍂 👻 🎃

Apart from the food and drink of course! 😉 This year we are keeping it simple! We know you love the relaxed atmosphere in our restaurants so this year we are keeping everything downstairs and offering a reduced version of our main menu plus some extra special specials! Our bar will be open if you just wanted to enjoy a few drinks! With midnight approaching we will count down to the New Year with Auld Land Syne on standby! 🎉🥂 Table bookings highly recommended https://www.sevenrooms.com/experiences/crooklands
