If I could go back and change one thing as a founder…
it would be trying to do everything myself.
For 10 years, I convinced myself that everything would fall apart if I didn’t hold on so tightly. Especially social media!
I thought I was protecting the brand but the reality? I was holding it back. I grew up sharing photos, editing and love nothing more than making Reels and capturing moments - it’s just fun to me!
But growth requires letting go. I’m still here, still deep in the business and obsessed with our customers, values and community events 🫶🏼
Today, Meg presented the social media strategy for the next 3 months. Not mine. Hers.
And I sat there feeling so proud because she’d brought her own ideas and unique POV to the table. This company is better because of every single team member and everyone’s differences.
💚 I haven’t gone anywhere but I’m trusting great people to bring ideas I would never have thought of myself.
