Our paddle boards have gone down a treat this week! Hardly surprising with how hot it’s been! 🥵

Who’d have thought we’d have these temperatures in Bassenthwaite in May?! 😳

Not complaining though.

Did you know the use of the lake for non motorised water craft is included in your stay?

If you’ve got your own boat/paddleboard, all you need to do is come and register it before you go out (we need to keep track of usage as part of our licence) and you’ll be good to go!

You can also hire a paddleboard from us too. We have limited number to hire so if you’d like to hire one please come to reception.

It’s £30 per board for 2 hours. Time slots are 9.30 -11.30 and 12-2pm Monday to Friday and 9.30-11 on Saturday. Closes Sunday.
No solo hire is allowed for safety reasons.

Fancy joining our fabulous team? 🙂

We are looking for a housekeeper to assist in cleaning our lodges on Mondays and Fridays.

You will be paid as per lodge that you clean and will need to be available between 10 and 3pm.

Experience in the role is preferred, but if you're willing, able and not shy of a bit of graft then you'll be considered.

You must be able to travel to and from the park.

We will provide all products and training will be provided.
Immediate start.
