Hi All,
My goodness me, it's been wet. I went out yesterday afternoon to capture some mist around a lake. I decided to visit Thirlmere Reservoir as it's just round the corner from me and you can get some lovely layering of the hills in the background.
Thirlmere water levels were very high with many trees and shrubs in the water.

We did a bit of shopping today in Workington. It was a bit drizzly so shopping was a good option. We bought a 'Maccy D' and parked up overlooking the sea. There was an amazing amount of vegetation between the rocks. Probably due to the amount of rain we have had in the past week or two.

Hi All,
I had a great walk yesterday afternoon. Started out at Great Wood, walked to Ashness Bridge and then up to Walla Crag. There wasn't much in the way of interesting light but the clouds were amazing. After spending 20 minutes or so here I came back to Great Wood via Cat Gill.

Hi All,
A couple of evenings ago I went up Latrigg with the hope of some dappled spring sunshine in the valleys, but it wasn't to be. As soon as I left the car the sun disappeared and everything went grey. Not to be deterred I continued and what a great sight with the drama and the rain making it's way down the valley towards me.

Hi All,
I was hoping for a glimmer of evening sun this evening over the Coldale Horseshoe. As I got to the top of Latrigg I could see the rain in the valley coming towards me. It was a quick walk as I turned around and made my way back to the car. I just managed to change back into my shoes and the rain hit me.
