Incoming…….remember there is no such thing as bad weather, just poor choice of clothing.

A yellow warning for strong winds across western parts of Scotland comes into force at 18:00 today, followed by a further yellow warning covering most of the country from 03:00-21:00 tomorrow. Please plan ahead, check your full journey before travelling and allow extra time for travel. If you're out and about, take extra care.

Last steam train of 2026! It was an epic sight today with soooo much steam! You may hear me choke a little as it goes past. I shall miss Mr Gale (King of the mask and Barnet) and his shenanigans. Hoping to see the Pullman make more of an appearance this winter but the West Highland line shuts for a couple weeks for essential maintenance so it will be ever so quiet at Clickety-Clack.

Sorry I’ve been very quiet last week as had a cheeky week in the sun. (Golf course in Tenerife, )

Back to business. We have some November and December dates open at Clickety.

I may be alone in loving winter but I do. Something about cosy nights in, in front of a wood burner.

2 night stays available for a quick getaway.

Lots of lovely wee extras in the cottage so basically bring your suitcase, some groceries, maybe a nice bottle of red and come and relax.
