EXCITING news…..we’ve met the target and exceeded it 👍❤️ THANK YOU to everyone who has donated, shared or taken part in football fundraising cards.

Don’t worry if you donated after we hit the target or still want to donate-the money stays in the ‘go fund me’ account and is there for when the battery (£250 approx) needs replacing (every 4 years) and the pads (£75 approx) need replacing (every 2 years)

Across the town and Promenade, there’ll be live music, vintage revival, military displays, markets, food, family entertainment, traders, parades, re-enactments, community events and thousands of visitors expected across one huge weekend by the sea.

Market Street, Euston Road, Victoria Street and New Town Square packed with independent traders, makers, food, crafts and local businesses.

This is shaping up to be one of the busiest and most exciting weekends of the summer so far — and a fantastic opportunity to support local businesses while enjoying everything happening across the town.

Morecambe is going to be BUSY… and we can’t wait.

Today felt like summer had arrived…..clear blue sky as far as the eye could see and ☀️!

We had an afternoon of watching the 🪂 from Black Knights Parachute Centre , listening to and watching pairs of buzzards soaring in the sky above, mesmerised by the House Martins busy tending to their nests and feeding chicks as well as moments of just listening to all the wildlife and farm animals around us….feel well and truely RELAXED!

We've a busy few days ahead of us here at Lancaster Walks, Talks & Tours! We're leading tours at Lancaster Castle with our Lancashire Museums colleagues today! Tommorow morning sees us continuing our ongoing researches into The Storey Gardens and a catch up with our visit Lancashire partners at The Dukes, Lancaster in the afternoon! 🎭

In the latter half of the week you have the option of joining us on two public tours of Lancaster -

We’d like to say a big thank you to Tom from Apex Locksmith and Joinery who came out to look at a digi lock installation job for the campsite, priced it up, ordered and fitted it all within 10 days (there was a bank holiday weekend included in there too).

Love supporting local businesses and enjoy sharing a great service 👍 🔒 🚪
