And that’s the 2026 season over!

We’ve had birthdays, anniversaries, first ever camping experiences, returning visitors, people visiting family/friends in the area, people on courses at Lancaster University, dropping of/picking up sons/daughters at Lancaster University, entering sporting events as well as people just wanting some relaxing time and exploring the local area.

We’ve had people from 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇮🇪 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇮🇲 🇩🇪 🇫🇷 🇿🇦 🇳🇿 🇺🇸 🇳🇱 🇧🇪 🇨🇭 as well as just down the road!

Some people have stayed 1 night; others up to 10 nights.

During this season we’ve fundraised and now have a defibrillator on site.

We even featured on the local radio station BBC Radio Lancashire in August.

We have got the 2027 calendar ready and raring to go and re-open 1st March 2027.

Thanks to everyone who has visited and thanks to all the local businesses and local community who have supported us with likes and shares on Facebook as well as offering our guests discounts in your establishments and a smiley face with local knowledge when they have passed you by on a walk, cycle or drive.

Just an hours drive from Berry’s Farm Campsite and you are in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Lovely drive across the moors from Ingleton to Hawes, then a fab 10km walk, roaring fire in a traditional Yorkshire pub (Green Dragon at Hardraw.) and an amazing waterfall!

Just called at The Cheese Shop at Dewlay for a cheese board treat…if you are staying at Berry’s Farm Campsite this is definitely worth a drive out to get some amazing local cheeses! Local family run business.

We’ve just had our last weekend on our grass pitches and it just happened to be Lancaster Music Festival weekend! 👍 🎤🎧🎼🎹🪇🥁🪘🎷🎺🪊🪗🎸🪕🪉🎻🪈👍

Our hard standing pitch is still available until the end of October. This pitch can be booked with or without EHU.

If you fancy a night(s) away over the next few weeks get in touch…plenty of availability. Peaceful location but close to local amenities and easy access on foot, 🚲 or bus to Lancaster or further afield.

I think most people who stay at Berry’s Farm Campsite visit The Port Of Lancaster Smokehouse at some point during their stay…even if it is as they leave and take the tasty treats on their onward journey.
