Many of the buildings standing today would have witnessed generations of market traders, travellers and local families passing through their doors, as well as happy couples coming out of St Michael's Church 🍾🥂

Markets have been at the heart of Ledbury life for nearly 900 years. Long before supermarkets and online shopping, people travelled from surrounding villages to buy supplies, sell produce and catch up on local news.

The tradition continues today beneath the Market House, where visitors can still experience a small part of what made Ledbury one of Herefordshire's most important market towns, and of course finish the day at one of Ledbury's Historic Inns!
