💫 We're excited to announce Fading Warmth, by Tafsia Muzib Dana. The exhibition brings together a collection of paintings, sketchbook pages, etchings, and drawings, created during her time on Residency with us.

Tafsia, a Fine Art graduate from Leeds Arts University was selected from the Ones to Watch exhibition at Sunny Bank Mills in 2025 and invited to take part in a residency here at Convention House. Fading Warmth brings together a collection of paintings, sketchbook pages, etchings, and drawings made over the last six months during this residency period. Created on canvas, wood, and repurposed book covers, these works offer a glimpse into Dana’s world—her memories, observations, and the people and places that stay with her.

Join us for the opening night on Thursday 16 July at 6pm, the exhibition will run until 30 July 2026.

⚽️ Football has always had the power to bring people together, we want to reflect on that sense of togetherness and celebration. We’re inviting artists, designers, illustrators and creative thinkers of all kinds to contribute ideas for a collaborative project which celebrates the art of the football shirt.

Focusing on themes such as, place, belonging, resistance and collective action, we are interested in a collaboration exploring what football shirts can carry.

We're excited to be hosting another round of Riso Residencies with 12 artists joining us across May to August.

Working across a range of different practices, the residency will offer artists the opportunity to use our Riso print space to develop work central to themes of Heritage, Community, and Diversity.
