The Castle is a charming Chef & Brewer countryside pub in the lovely village of Kirby Muxloe. Close to the M1 and less than five miles from Leicester city centre, it sits beside a moated 15th-century castle and is steeped in local history. Housed in a 17th-century building with exposed wooden beams and an open fireplace, it combines rustic character with modern comforts such as free Wi-Fi, disabled facilities and rooms for overnight stays. Enjoy a local cask ale at the bar or plan a weekend visit to savour our traditional Sunday roast. Whether you’re joining us for a relaxed lunch or hearty dinner, The Castle offers a warm welcome in a truly historic setting.

Hello to all the followers of The Castle Hotel in Kirby Muxloe.
We would like to introduce ourselves as the new custodians of your local pub/hotel in this beautiful village.
We have been here now for about a month and have put some new systems and standards into place in order to get The Castle back to where it was when our good friends Paul and Becca were in charge.
We have many years experience in the hospitality industry, Alan as General manager and myself (Angie) as kitchen manager.

Please keep an eye out for the events we have planned.
We look forward to meeting those of you who we have not yet met.

A polite parking reminder to please park considerably and not block our fire doors.

Unfortunately this happens often, and whilst we appreciate that at times our car park can get extremely busy, parking in front of these doors does prevent safe evacuation from the building in the event of an emergency, and also means those that need an accessible entrance/exit to the building may not be able to get in or out safely.

Thank you.
