One of the things we love most about living here is that there are still places in Cornwall that make you stop and say wow.

Tucked away just a short drive from Lower Trengale Farm, Lantic Bay is one of those places. No shops, no arcades, no rows of deckchairs… just turquoise water, dramatic cliffs and a beach that feels a little bit like a secret.

It’s not the easiest beach to reach, but that’s part of its magic. Pack a picnic, take your time and enjoy the walk down – the views are worth every step.

And when you’ve had your fill of sea air, you can come back to the farm, put the kettle on and relive the day all over again. 🤍

The best thing about staying here isn’t actually the cottages.

It’s the feeling.

It’s pouring a glass of fizz and finally having nowhere you need to be.

It’s lingering over cream teas and cups of tea that are still hot when you drink them.

It’s watching the sheep wander across the fields as the sun begins to set.

It’s cosy evenings by the fire with a glass of red and good company.

It’s slowing down, switching off, and remembering what matters for a little while.

Whether you’re escaping as a couple, spending time with family, bringing the dog along for the adventure, or gathering friends together for a much-needed catch-up, that’s the part people remember most.

The peace. The space. The time together. 🤍

I spent a lovely few hours at Canny Goose in St Austell this week, taking part in one of Lucy’s jewellery-making workshops.

With plenty of guidance (and patience!), I came away with a necklace I’m genuinely proud of, while others created some beautiful bangles and earrings. It was such a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and a wonderful way to spend an afternoon learning something new.

If you’ve ever fancied having a go at making your own jewellery, I couldn’t recommend the experience enough. Thank you, Lucy, for such a brilliant workshop! ✨

I know social media can sometimes feel a bit silly, but the reality is that for many small businesses it’s become part of the job.

Most days I’d rather be welcoming guests, feeding animals, gardening, taking photographs or simply enjoying farm life with my family. Instead, you’ll often find me balancing all of that while trying to work out whether a reel needs a hook, if a trending audio is still trending, and why on earth one post reaches 10 people while another reaches 10,000! 😂

Life recently has been a little hectic… but I feel so lucky that home is a place that gives us space to breathe 🤍
