Before & After polishing the Pacific Steam Navigation Company's mosaic! 🫧

The mosaic was installed by the Pacific Steam Navigation Company when they became the new owners of the building in 1948. 🧭

Can anyone guess why the mosaic is a map of South America? 🌎 We will leave the answer in the comments tomorrow!

We have exciting news! 📰

A permanent, world-class Titanic and White Star Line exhibition will open in January 2027 in our wonderful Grade II* listed building where the liner was originally conceived and commissioned! 🚢

The permanent collection features over 250 Titanic and White Star Line items, including several pieces never shown before! 🤩

Key exhibits include:
⭐ Original items retrieved from the wreck, including Titanic deck wood, coal, and hull fragments from the "Big Piece"
⭐ Original Titanic artefacts direct from the ship, passengers and crew
⭐ A first class passenger list documenting 1912 society aboard the ship
⭐ Letters and postcards written by passengers during the voyage
⭐ Dik Barton's dive suit and deep-sea exploration equipment

Visitors will be able to explore the building where the White Star Line was based, while learning about the ships, passengers, crew, and subsequent deep-sea exploration efforts.

The exhibit will open on 2nd January 2027 and will be available 7 days per week. Early bird tickets are available to buy now!

On the 1st of September 1985 the RMS Titanic wreckage was found 3800 meters below the surface of the North Atlantic 🚢🌊

After 73 years in the dark, the "unsinkable" ship was located by American oceanographer Dr. Robert Ballard and French engineer Jean-Louis Michael.

To celebrate this anniversary we have a big announcement coming soon! We are very excited to share the news with you. So watch this space 👀
