“Smudgekin “ The feral cat that Julie brought here as a older kitten.. from Gwynfe cat welfare… they do great work and have the best charity shops here … She was wild .. hiding under the stove for 4 days … she still has that wild instinct and wont let anyone near her … apart from me … shes a sweetheart now 🤍🤍🤍

CHEF / COOK WANTED Looking for a van life person or someone who enjoys camping/hut / outdoor living to do pop up suppers… small events… or little cafe / supper/ pizza meals over the summer.Suits someone who can stay in their own van or use our tent … enjoys making menus using our foraging and seasonal veg grown here. Organising the kitchen ( we have the equipment) and being able to do simple meals. ..Ideally someone who can stay as we are rural. … and as with all campsites it can be busy then very quiet…. So the income can be sporadic….suits someone with a second job or who can manage with a busy week making food and keeping the profits… to a less busy week if the weather changes and being able to come and go or to using the time to practice their bushcraft skills,hike ,study nature,do remote work on a computer or writing,or building a craft project ( welcome to use our tools etc ) Its hard to explain till you live on a very rural location to appreciate how it fluctuates from busy to empty.Claire did amazing food here for two seasons and we miss her amazing food ( haha and company of course 🥰😂) Her beautiful set up and little pop up suppers by the lake or in the woods where wonderful …Its a great opportunity for someone to gain more experience of running their own business and enjoy the beautiful countryside… pm or email to inquire .
