Share your winter and Christmas events with Visit Conwy

With less than 60 days until Christmas, we’re busy preparing our new Welcoming Winter in Conwy webpage.

The page will showcase Conwy County as a year-round destination, with a focus on our winter and festive offer.

As part of the page, we’re creating a Christmas and winter offers section to promote seasonal offers from local businesses. This could include festive dining, music events, in-store promotions, Christmas activities, winter experiences and more.

This is a free opportunity to help promote your business to visitors this winter.

To be included, please send:

A brief description of your offer or event - around 100 words
One high-quality image
A link to your business or event webpage
Deadline for submissions: 10th November 2026

Please send details to [email protected] with your details.

We look forward to helping highlight your festive offers and experiences across Conwy this winter.

Social commerce for businesses
How to sell on TikTok, Instagram and beyond

Social commerce is the process of selling products directly through social media platforms such as TikTok Shop, Instagram Shopping and Facebook Shops. Customers can discover products, engage with content, read reviews and complete purchases without leaving the app.

Social commerce for businesses is becoming a practical way for new businesses to start selling online. Customers now discover products through social media content and buy directly within the same app, making social commerce an increasingly important part of e-commerce for startups.

Platforms such as TikTok Shop and Instagram Shopping bring together content, community and checkout in one place, making it easier to turn interest into sales without relying on a full ecommerce setup from the start. This makes social commerce an attractive option for e-commerce for startups, allowing businesses to begin selling online quickly and cost-effectively.

Click on the link below for more information on what social commerce looks like in practice and how new businesses can use it.

The information also outlines how to choose the right platforms and build a simple approach that helps you start selling and grow steadily.
