It was good to meet some of the Mid Wales Bike Meet group at Towy Bridge Inn today - and with some interesting bikes. I rode home the long way round via Llyn Brianne and Devil's Staircase.

My favourite bike and my favourite car (to be fair, I only have one car to choose from) at one of my favourite viewpoints - on the Epynt between Garth and Upper Chapel, and less than fifteen minutes from Riverbank Bed and Breakfast.

I had a short ride out to one of my favourite places for a picture - Abergwesyn Common, on the approach to Devil's Staircase. The CBR600F3 has finally been run-in after 4,000 miles in nearly 30 years.

For the first time in ages, I get the opportunity to get out on the bike - and it's raining, but it's still a pleasure to get out in the Mid-Wales hills. If it's still raining tomorrow, at least I can take a walk (or ride) to the World Bog Snorkelling Championships just down the road.

Here at Riverbank Bed and Breakfast, we welcome guests with all kinds of vehicles - two wheels or four, and occasionally three. This is Martin and Jenny's Pembleton, with a 1000cc Moto Guzzi engine and 2CV running gear. What a beauty!
