This September, Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility returns to the screen, Georgia Oakley’s new telling Sense and Sensibility with Daisy Edgar-Jones & arriving in UK cinemas this Autumn. A story of sisters, of quiet fortitude, of rooms that hold everything unsaid.

Each of the six bedrooms at Henry’s Townhouse in Marylebone, London has been individually designed as a glamorous reimagining of the Regency period, inspired by the novelist Jane Austen, whose brother Henry once resided at No. 24. The connection feels apt and something of that world lingers in the house still.

Every detail has been considered with care: rich fabrics, deep colour palettes, antiques and artwork that rewards a second look. It is a house that has been genuinely loved into being rather than simply decorated.

The comforts are quietly exceptional. Glencraft Royal Warrant mattresses, 300 thread count linen, Frette slippers and robes, Dyson hairdryers and Votary organic bathroom amenities sit alongside a personal service that anticipates rather than reacts.
