This street has a story.

Long before it was a hotel, this was Vincent Cartwright Vickers' world. In 1913 he wrote and illustrated The Google Book a story of mythical birds, made up to entertain his own children.

Look closely and you'll find them everywhere at Sun Street. In the wallpaper. On the bar menu, where cocktails carry their names and their verses. Even at breakfast, holding your morning egg.

We're kicking off a new residency at Sun Street and it starts with trumpet player

A regular on stages with Wynton Marsalis, Shabaka Hutchings and Amy Winehouse, Phelps brings a warm, unmistakable tone and a genuine love for the room. He'll be joined by some of London's finest jazz musicians for a night that's part concert, part courtyard party.
