Eight floors above Leicester Square, the West End restless below, 8 at The Londoner keeps its own rhythm this festive season.

Christmas Day settles into its izakaya-style setting, robata-grilled skewers and Japanese-inspired cocktails carrying the same spirit as any other night at 8. This festive season, afternoon tea takes on a little extra sparkle at The Stage.

Decorations catch the light in the mirrored ceiling above, while Leicester Square glimmers just beyond the doors. Expect delicate finger sandwiches, warm scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve, and a choice of patisseries from the trolley.
