Who said the Brits don’t do Halloween? 🎃

Clearly, they’ve never been to Notting Hill.

At this time of year, the neighbourhood puts on a wonderfully wicked spectacle. Pumpkins line the steps, cobwebs creep across pastel façades, and some of London’s prettiest streets take a rather theatrical turn.

Subtle? Not in this postcode.

And we wouldn’t have it any other way. 👻

If you gave us 24 hours in Notting Hill at Christmas, this is how we’d spend them. 🎄

Check in at 3. A little neighbourhood wander. Ice skating at Somerset House. Christmas lights and mulled w**e at Winter Wonderland. Then back to Portobello for a very good night’s sleep.

The next morning? Breakfast, Portobello Road, a flat white at Farm Girl, a little shopping on Westbourne Grove and lunch at The Pelican.

The dressing and make-up space is so often an afterthought in hotel rooms. Not here.
