It was a privilege to welcome Demet Sabanci Çetindoğan to the Creative Women Platform Inaugural Assembly in Istanbul, marking an important milestone in our platform’s journey in Türkiye.

A distinguished Turkish businesswoman, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Demet has long championed women’s leadership, social impact and the importance of creating opportunities that extend beyond individual success.

Her presence brought a particularly meaningful dimension to a programme centred on international connection, entrepreneurship, collaboration and the strength of women supporting one another across borders.

Demet shared with the audience the important work she is undertaking involving stem cells and innovative approaches to longevity — a topic of great relevance to women’s lives and wellbeing.

One of the most memorable dimensions of our inaugural Creative Women Platform Assembly in Türkiye was the opportunity to place art and cultural heritage at the heart of the experience.

Throughout the evening, our international guests encountered a diverse selection of works representing both the depth of Türkiye’s artistic traditions and the strength of its contemporary creative voice.

We were proud to feature:

Almula İdil Kılıç — Traditional Turkish Ceramic Art
Alev Özas — Painting
Deniz Say — Painting
İsmail Acar — Painting

Together, their work created a rich visual dialogue across different disciplines, generations and artistic languages.

From the precision and heritage of calligraphy and traditional ceramic art to contemporary interpretations through painting, each contribution added a distinct cultural layer to the Assembly and offered our guests a deeper connection with Türkiye’s creative identity.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to each of the participating artists for sharing their work with our community and contributing to such an important first chapter for Creative Women Platform in Istanbul.

Our thanks also go to Zeynep Ober for her role in bringing this artistic element of the programme together and helping create a meaningful platform for cultural exchange.

Rooted in the enduring symbolism of the rose, Rosever brings together heritage, beauty, wellbeing and contemporary thinking, creating a distinctive dialogue between tradition and the evolving meaning of luxury.

This philosophy was beautifully reflected during the Assembly through Buket Önyörü, Brand Director of Rosever, archaeologist, artist and author, who joined our international community for a conversation exploring “New Luxury in Business Life: Longevity”.

Founder of Global Wellness Day Founder of Richmond Nua Wellness Spa, Creative Director of Richmond Hotels and Member of the Board of Aksoy Group, Belgin has spent more than three decades championing a more conscious approach to wellbeing, hospitality and the way we live.

Her vision for Global Wellness Day began in Türkiye in 2012 with one simple yet powerful belief: “One day can change your whole life.”

The inaugural Creative Women Platform Assembly in Türkiye marked an important moment in the continued international journey of our Platform, bringing together leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, diplomats and changemakers in one of the world’s most extraordinary cities.
