It’s been a rather rainy start to half-term in London! ☔️🍂
But don’t let a little rain spoil your plans. There’s so much to see and do, whatever the weather.
Here are a few of our favourite things to explore near Blakemore this week.
🐋 Natural History Museum
Say hello to Hope, the enormous blue whale hanging in Hintze Hall. She’s quite a sight! Entry is FREE, or you can explore Jurassic Oceans: Monsters of the Deep (from £15) and the newly opened Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition (from £17).
🏛️ Victoria & Albert Museum
Another lovely place to escape the rain. Wander through the beautiful sculpture galleries or discover Freddie Mercury: Splendid Things, a NEW free exhibition trail featuring eight of his iconic looks. There are also free family activities running from 26–30 October.
🍂 Kensington Gardens
When the rain finally gives us a break, wrap up warm and enjoy the autumn colours. The gardens are looking particularly lovely at this time of year, and they’re just a short stroll from Blakemore.
🎃 Halloween Afternoon Tea
And when you’ve had your fill of exploring, there’s always something sweet waiting back at Blakemore. Our Halloween Afternoon Tea is available until 1 November, with 20% off. £31.95 per adult and £19.95 per child. Advance booking required.
Rain or shine, there’s plenty of London to fall in love with. ❤️
