For the Michelin stars

On the volcanic island of Vulcano, gastronomy is a reason to stay in itself. Therasia holds three Michelin stars across Il Cappero and Davide Guidara’s plant-led I Tenerumi, alongside two Michelin Green Stars, placing sustainability firmly at the heart of its kitchens.

For the Amalfi Coast

At Donna Emma, Chef Antonino D’Alessio draws on the ingredients and culinary traditions of Campania, giving them a contemporary expression. For something more relaxed, Sauté brings Neapolitan flavours to the water’s edge, overlooking the Amalfi Coast.

For Liguria

Palmaria Restaurant celebrates its Ligurian setting through Italian and Mediterranean flavours, served against one of Portovenere’s most spectacular views. Local ingredients and the region’s relationship with the sea make dining here as much about place as it is the plate.

For the garden

At Botania, the journey from garden to plate is remarkably short. Much of the produce is grown within the resort’s organic gardens, shaping the menus at its restaurants, including Michelin Green Star Il Mirto, where vegetables take centre stage.

For Sicily’s seasons

Chef Piergiorgio Alecci’s cooking follows the rhythms of the Sicilian landscape. His Come Natura menu evolves with what is growing in Donna Carmela’s vegetable garden and citrus groves, bringing the flavours of the estate directly to the table.

For the choice

Anda Barut Collection takes the all-inclusive dining experience far beyond the expected, with a collection of restaurants spanning Turkish and international cuisines. From regional specialities at Kara to pastries and sweet creations at Olivae, there is a different table to discover throughout a stay.

Food at Ottolire is rooted in the flavours and produce of the Itria Valley, with Puglian traditions informing a distinctly local dining experience. Regional ingredients, olive oil and wines connect each meal back to the surrounding cou

Summer on the Ligurian coast, served simply.

At , Grand Hotel Portovenere’s Lobster Catalana celebrates the flavours of the Mediterranean with a lighter, fresher approach; letting the quality of the ingredients take centre stage.

At Botania Relais & Spa, wellness moves beyond the spa and into the gardens, through naturally heated spring water, outdoor movement, homegrown produce and plenty of space to simply do nothing.

The Ischian way to switch off ➡️

Hidden among Botania’s woodland terraces are two secluded pools fed by naturally heated spring water. The water journey continues at the Garden Spa, from warm hydromassage pools to a steam bath tucked inside a natural grotto.

From May to September, morning yoga moves into the gardens. Surrounded by Mediterranean planting and Ischia’s landscape, it’s a gentle way to start the day, before breakfast, the pool or nowhere in particular.

Even the gym takes you outdoors. Botania’s open-air fitness area is hidden among the forest terraces, uses equipment that requires no electricity and looks out across the park towards the sea.

Aromatic and medicinal plants grow throughout Botania’s three-hectare park, with essential oils derived from botanicals forming part of the Garden Spa experience. Treatments are personalised by the resort’s therapists, bringing the surrounding landscape into the ritual of switching off.

Wellness continues at the table. Botania’s organic farming supplies around 70% of its own needs, while Michelin Green Star restaurant Il Mirto serves an entirely vegetarian and vegan menu built around the produce of the island.

For clients looking beyond the traditional spa break, Botania offers a more holistic way to switch off, bringing together Ischia’s thermal waters, outdoor movement, garden-led dining and three hectares of Mediterranean nature.

Venice, from a rather special point of view.

Set directly on the Grand Canal, Ca’ Sagredo pairs the grandeur of a historic Venetian palazzo with the simple pleasures of being in the city, stepping out to explore, watching gondolas pass below, or settling in with an aperitivo as the afternoon drifts into evening.

One to keep in mind for clients looking to experience Venice from within a piece of its history.

Why Donna Carmela?

Inside an eco-resort between Etna and the Ionian Sea.

IN THE SHADOW OF ETNA

Set between Mount Etna and Sicily’s eastern coast, Donna Carmela is surrounded by a landscape shaped by lava, vineyards and Mediterranean planting. The volcano is within easy reach, with trekking, cycling and vineyard visits offering different ways to explore the terrain.

FROM 2,000 SQ M OF GARDEN TO TABLE

Much of what reaches the table begins in Donna Carmela’s own 2,000-square-metre garden and citrus grove. Fruit, vegetables, herbs, oil and honey are produced naturally, while more than 30 organic citrus varieties find their way into everything from breakfast preserves to dishes and cocktails.

NOT JUST A HOTEL ROOM

Accommodation ranges from spacious suites and Flora Lodges to private-pool lodges and a Sicilian Villa. Surrounded by greenery, many come with their own garden, terrace or pool, with interiors bringing together Sicilian materials and contemporary design.

AN ECO-RESORT BY NATURE

Sustainability here is rooted in the Faro family’s long relationship with the land. Water-saving initiatives, renewable energy and organic-waste recycling sit alongside a commitment to protecting Mediterranean horticulture and biodiversity.

WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN…

Evenings move to Rizo Bar, where cocktails draw on herbs and citrus grown within the resort and live music adds to the atmosphere. Think a drink in the garden, Sicilian flavours in the glass and nowhere else to be.

STAY IN, WITHOUT STANDING STILL

There’s plenty to do without leaving the grounds: cooking and cocktail masterclasses, yoga beneath centuries-old olive trees, padel and time beside the garden pool. Guests can also book personal training and treatments using organic, plant-based products from Radicepura.

BEYOND THE GATES

Explore Etna’s lava landscapes, taste wines at Pietradolce or wander among more than 3,000 plant species at nearby Radicepura. Further afield, days can take you sailing around Taormina and Isola Bella or exploring Sicily’s historic towns.

Sicily, beyond the sunlounger.

Fellah was built around an idea: that a hotel could be as much about culture as it is about comfort.

Alongside contemporary Moroccan architecture, you’ll find a library, artist residencies and community-led initiatives that continue to shape life beyond the hotel itself.

Close enough to explore the energy of Marrakech, yet far enough away to return to quiet mornings, long lunches and evenings that stretch into conversation.
