Purple Ski Chalets / Purple Summer Villas

Purple Ski has been offering catered chalet holidays in Méribel since 1991; our portfolio of chalets has evolved over the years and this season we are pleased to offer five of Méribel's finest chalets, as well as one of Courchevel 1850's and three of Val d'Isere's. We are very excited to announce that as of 2020, we have four luxury villas on our Purple Summer portfolio. Two luxury villas in Northern Mallorca and the South of France. We intend to keep our portfolio intentionally small, providing exceptional villas and impeccable cuisine.

Chalet La Varappe ♥️ Originally built by Mr Pomagalski, has much of the interior clad in the wood cleared whilst building the lift system in Méribel, giving the chalet an incredibly authentic and alpine-esque ambience.

The heart of La Varappe is its alluringly cosy yet sumptuous sitting room. With its striking stone fireplace, exquisite artworks, intriguing antiques and quintessentially English furnishings, you’ll feel like you could curl up on the sofa forever.

The dining room’s laden bookcases and opulent furnishings promise a relaxed yet sophisticated culinary experience. And with 10 seats at the table, it’s a fantastic spot to get together over beautiful food and w**e.

Its spacious terraces, garden and private outdoor hot tub allow you to marvel at the mountains even after you’ve kicked off your skis. The chalet also offers a steam room for aching muscles, a TV/games room and, of course, a large ski and boot room.

Located in the centre of Méribel, Chalet La Varappe sleeps 10 people in supreme comfort within five beautifully designed bedrooms, each with an en-suite bath or shower room. There is an additional attic bedroom suitable for two or more children.

The Three Valleys is without doubt the largest and finest linked ski area in the world. The area is naturally blessed with good snow falls and, along with 2,383 snow cannons, skiing is virtually assured from Christmas through to the beginning of May. ❄️⛷️
