Great Scotland Yard Hotel is proud to collaborate with London Heritage Quarter () for Pride in the Quarter, a free public art trail celebrating community, culture and creativity in the heart of Westminster.
Our Great Scotland Yard Hotel Leadership Committee was delighted to welcome and pose with Guardian of the Crown, our lion sculpture created by artist Lyndsay Russell ( ), as part of this meaningful summer initiative.
Running from 1 June to 10 August, the Pride in the Quarter Trail invites Londoners and visitors to discover 17 artist designed lions and lionesses across London Heritage Quarter, from Trafalgar Square and St James’s Park to Victoria Tower Gardens, Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament.
Spanning 1.945 km² through Westminster, the trail offers a unique way to explore the capital at your own pace, with striking sculptures set against some of London’s most iconic landmarks and green spaces.
We are proud to be part of an initiative that brings together art, heritage and community, and we look forward to welcoming guests and visitors to discover Guardian of the Crown at Great Scotland Yard Hotel, London’s Best Kept Secret.
