Britain exports around 80% of the fish it lands, while importing around 90% of the fish it eats. Meanwhile, many of the species caught closer to home rarely make it onto our menus. .dan wants to change that.

From 9 October, they’re taking over Friday nights at Aethos London, serving locally caught, often overlooked British fish, grilled simply with bold sauces and seasonal sides. You might not recognise every fish on the menu — that’s part of the point. Expect great value, local catch and, most importantly, seriously good fish.
