ANNOUNCEMENT: The Langport Ghost Walk is Coming in 2027 👻

We’re excited to announce that Extours is coming to Langport!

From January 2027, join us after dark as we explore the historic streets of Langport and uncover some of the darker stories connected to the town’s past.

Over 90 minutes, we’ll delve into real history, local folklore, legends, ghost stories and unexplained accounts, bringing together the fascinating and sometimes darker tales that have become part of Langport’s story.

No actors. No staged scares. No jump scares. Just fascinating history and centuries of darker tales.

The next person to share their favourite place at Montacute is Keri, a member of the Operations Team. She's certainly chosen a beautiful spot for everyone to enjoy.

Keri says "one of my favourite things about being here at Montacute House is standing by north terrace Porters Lodge and looking back to the mansion house in the morning. When the sun is shining the house just glows and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside”
