🌳 Have you ever wondered how we keep the gardens at Parish Mill Holidays looking so neat and tidy? 🌳

Whilst David does the majority of the lawn mowing, we are lucky to have Greg from Trees and Garden on hand to keep everything looking its best. From strimming and edging to general garden maintenance, Greg is always happy to tackle whatever jobs we throw his way.

This week, however, Greg had a very special assistant with him 🐾

Meet Aiofe, his gorgeous 12 week old Ridgeback puppy! She came along for a visit and completely stole everyone's hearts. ♥️

Aiofe also got to sample some delicious natural treats from a local company which received a very enthusiastic approval! 🦴

We couldn't resist sharing a video and a few photos of her visit. We think you will agree she's absolutely adorable. 🐶

Happy Bank Holiday Weekend from all of us here in the Forest of Dean! ☀️

We’re looking forward to a very special weekend celebrating a birthday, welcoming returning guests, and enjoying some beautiful sunshine here at our cottages.

There’s nothing better than seeing familiar faces come back to stay with us and make more memories in the Forest.

Whether you’re exploring the woodland trails, relaxing in the garden, or simply soaking up the sunshine, we hope everyone has a wonderful weekend ahead.

We had some lovely guests staying with us this weekend — and Nova the dog was very pleased to test out our new dog wash area 🤣🐾

After muddy walks through the beautiful Forest of Dean, we wanted somewhere simple to rinse off muddy paws before heading back into the cottages. So we made this little wash station from an old Belfast sink and a recycled pallet — rustic, practical, and just the right size for four muddy paws!

We’re proudly dog friendly here, because holidays are always better when the whole family comes along 🐶🌿

I have been a little quiet on here recently as we were off enjoying a wonderful cruise around the Norwegian Fjords - but we are back now & getting back into the swing of things!

One moment from the trip I just had to share.... while choosing a wine onboard ship I spotted a wine called Coleridge Hill from in Newent - just a short distance from us

I couldn't believe it.....a local Gloucestershire wine all the way out in Norway. It really made me smile & reminded us what a gem we have on our doorstep.

For any guests staying with us I can highly recommend a visit to Three Choirs Vineyard for a wine tasting experience - and this proves how far their fantastic wines can travel 🇳🇴🚢

We are looking forward to welcoming guests again & sharing more local favourites with you all 🥂
