Couple of things...
Firstly we have filled the positions available in our kitchen and are very pleased to welcome Josh and Mason to the team with Ryan.
Josh is a very experienced chef who brings with him a wealth of experience and has some great ideas to really liven up our specials and will be working closely with Ryan to deliver our menu to the highest possible standard, and Mason who will be assisting them. Mason is currently studying Hospitality and catering at St Austell college and has work experience in commercial kitchens.
We also have some new faces joining us front of house, Rosie and Erin.
We welcome you all to the Royal oak team and hope you will enjoy working with us.
Secondly, we have a change to the line up this weekend, the Bubble are no longer playing on Sunday due to having played last weekend in the Kings, so instead we have the brilliant
Sidesteps performing for us outside in the beer garden from 7pm marking the start of
Carnival week so we hope to see many of you here to cheer them on. 😁

With it being yet another hot week ahead just a reminder that the public bar, restaurant and pool room are fully air conditioned so you can cool off while having a bite to eat or a refreshing drink.
Summer food service times are shown, now open until 3pm for food Mon - Sat and the rotary club are on their recess from our reastaurant for the next 6 weeks so we have more tables available and can cook all evening from 5.30pm without stopping. Wednesday its eyes down from 8pm for cash bingo so book your table now as it gets very busy. FRIDAY we have Feelgood FRIDAY wirh all the usual offers then Saturday its Karaoke with Bache from 9pm so come up and sing ya favourite songs Then on Sunday as we kick off CARNIVAL WEEK

Heres our whatson for another hot week...
Wednesdsy...ENGLAND V ARGENTINA 8pm, as we cheer on England ever hopeful of an appearance in the final we will be on FEELGOOD FRIDAY prices from 7pm and throughout the match, thats 50p off all your pints of lager, cider & Ale, house spirits and mixers, and 175/250ml glasses of wine.
We will also be cooking hot dogs and
Cheese burgers for £5 until 9pm.
We also have cash bingo as usual for those of you not interested in the football, eyes down at 8pm.
Feelgood Friday as always with lower prices and Fizz n chips for 2 for £35, and a bottle of Prosecco for £15.99.
Also we have entertainment Friday night with the brilliant VINYL FRONTIER from
8 30pm so with fabulous weather it should be great out in the beer garden.
Saturday we have the brilliant
Shane Soloman and the NCA band playing for us out in the beer garden from 8 30pm so a great weekend of entertainment coming your way.
We will also be showing the
FRANCE V SPAIN semifinal tonight at 8pm
and on Sunday the final at 8pm for which
Again we will be offering feelgood prices and worldcup burgers and hotdogs from 7pm, so lets hope England get there.
Sunday roasts from midday until 5pm then our evening menu until 8pm.
Also as a quick reminder, all areas inside are airconditioned so its nice and cool to eat and drink. Have a great week everyone
