Dear Community
We’re gearing up for an afternoon packed with fun, laughter, and just the right amount of organised chaos here at Pakefield Holiday Park — and we’d be absolutely thrilled to have you with us.
On Saturday 29th August, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the field next to the new Clubhouse will be transformed into a proper old‑school village fête… with a Pakefield twist. Expect games, prizes, bric‑a‑brac, a bouncy castle, Hook‑a‑Duck, Jamboree bags, a classic Tombola, and plenty more to keep everyone smiling.
If you have any unwanted gifts or prize‑worthy items hiding in cupboards, drawers, or that one mysterious “bits and bobs” box, we’d be delighted to give them a new purpose. And if you’d like to run a stall, donate a prize, or volunteer your time, we will welcome you warmly — and possibly reward you with biscuits.
We’re also looking for anyone with a special skill or talent who’d like to get involved. Do you paint faces? Work wonders with wood? Create arts and crafts? Braid hair? Read a bit of Tarot? If you have a talent — big, small, quirky, or somewhere in between — we’d love to include it. And if you’re sitting there thinking, “I don’t have a skill”… trust us, you probably do.
Please do bring plenty of cash, as all proceeds from the day will be going to charity. We’ll reveal the chosen charity closer to the date — suspense is part of the fun.
And now… we need your help to spread the word. Tell your friends, tell your neighbours, tell the local shops, tell the postman — and the milkman (if they still exist). Tell absolutely everyone. We want this to be a huge success, and your support will help bring the entire Pakefield Holiday Park community together.
It’s shaping up to be a cheerful, community‑spirited afternoon, and we can’t wait to see you there.
